We were getting more and more disturbed at the high cost of fuel oil to heat our 3 story 150 year old Federal home. Why We Started CHI

As many of you know, we went on a national tour last year with our family bluegrass band. While we were on this tour, we met many families who had home based businesses making products like soap, lotion, dress patterns, etc. Many of them were taking advantage of modern technology to build sources of income within their families, and were making progress in Coming Home for Work. We also noticed that their client base was very limited, mostly to their friends and family, with only a few having outside product placement like a spot in a local boutique or a farmer’s market.

Report on the San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival and Christian Filmmakers Academy

We just finished attending the San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival (SAICFF) and Christian Filmmakers Academy. It was a great time of inspiration and fellowship for aspiring filmmakers and their families. The film festival was great as well. We saw some great movies and met some wonderful people. It was especially encouraging to meet so many enthusiastic young people who have been guided by their parents to pursue excellence in the arts through filmmaking and to seek to take “every frame captive� to Christ.
